Not much else is new this month, unfortunately! Around the beginning of it, I had a weird arm injury crop up so getting much done has been a struggle. While trying to deal with that, I’ve just been trying to keep up with the two kickstarters I’ve been working on all summer. That work’s finally coming to an end, and one of them is already up!

Kokopa’s Atlas…! Is not a game I worked on at all, haha. But I am plastered all over the kickstarter page because I’ve been making a ton of promotional art and all of the banners and drawn graphics on the page itself. As of the time I’m writing this, it’s 3 days in and almost completely funded, which is pretty awesome! The page with my graphics and all is right here.

While artistically I didn’t get much else done other than these work projects, it’s been an amazing learning experience for me. There’s a LOT that goes into these pages when you have to put together the organization of each section, how you want to theme things overall, what you want to give emphasis to, etc.. Kokopa was a tough time for everyone involved because none of us had done a kickstarter before. I’m really excited for my next project’s page to go up in a few weeks, because not only did I have a much bigger role in the project itself, but I’ve gotten to apply my new tricks to make it all way better! Also it’s going to be crazy fun, so look forward to that on the 15th!

Once the next project is done, it’s going to be the first break I’ve had all year. Not to say I’ll be completely out of work, but there won’t be any tight deadlines anymore. I’m looking forward to being able to focus more on my 3D work and put together a proper portfolio in that regard. I’ve also been planning to practice my graphics more by fixing up some documents I made for personal projects. Maybe I’ll get to share those in the future when they’re finally somewhere presentable!

Despite the difficult situation with this injury and my lack of personal creative output, it’s a pretty exciting time for me! I hope you all enjoy the stuff I’ve been working so hard on!

See you in October!
